Founder and former Managing Director
Tariq Raza Azmi, the former Managing Director of the Company was a man of vision and clarity and brought with him an experience of thirty years in the carpet industry. He worked with one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of quality rugs, as Manager (Quality Control & Customer Service) before leaving the organization in June, 1996 to start independently. His sharp sightedness made him execute the best of designs in a variety of colours and textures. Some of the modern designs which he made have stood the test of time and have become the trademark designs of the Company. Under his able stewardship Tahumo has always maintained timeline of delivery and swift business transactions. His vision is now the mission of the Company. His passion for carpets and delivering excellence in all his endeavours has fuelled the idea of Tahumo since its inception. He has carried it forward with utmost dedication and love for the art itself.
Mohsin Raza Azmi
Managing Director
Armed with the experience of working in the carpet industry for twenty- four years, Mohsin Raza Azmi is now looking into the production and quality control of handmade rugs. Prior to working with Tahumo, he has worked as Manager (Quality Control) with a leading exporter of handmade rugs. He manages the operations of the Gopiganj factory and oversees the sourcing and procurement of top-notch materials for our exquisite rugs. His leadership and attention to detail are valuable assets to the company.
Ali Tariq Usmani
Managing Director
Ali Tariq Usmani looks into the marketing of custom-made rugs and oversees general operations of the company. He also oversees the operations of the designing team, so that the company continues to flesh out designs which keep abreast of the latest trends. His entrepreneurship continues to help the company stand its ground and stand out as a leading manufacturing and exporting unit.
Humayun Fakhruddin
General Manager
Humayun Fakhruddin has gathered a rich experience of thirty years in the carpet industry. He is the General Manager at our Prayagraj office, managing accounts, communications and general grievances. His administrative skills and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty have kept the company upscale.
